Describe the job and materials. We deliver a DIY roll-off. You load it. We pick it up and dispose of the contents. We are not a labour junk crew. That DIY framing is intentional — Surrey SERP competitors often mix bin rental with full-service junk hauling; this page is disposal bin rental only.
Your contractor can load as part of their own crew; Trash King still only drops and retrieves the container.
Clear the approach, mark the pad, and note any overhead lines before the truck arrives. On new-build streets, cul-de-sac radius and unfinished surfaces are worth mentioning on the booking call. We do not claim a Surrey yard address on this page — regional dispatch covers city-wide drops.
What size for this Surrey project
Sizes available: 10, 12, 15, 20, 30 and 40 yard. Heavy loads (dirt, concrete, shingles) often need a smaller bin even when the pile looks large. Start with trash bins; many reno and construction jobs use a 15-yard bin, 20-yard bin or 30-yard bin. Match the truck path and weight first; upsizing only helps when the pad and material both support it. On active construction sites, say whether the bin will sit inside the site fence or must use City property — that single detail changes both size advice and whether a TOP is in play.

- Home reno — commonly 15 or 20 yard.

- New construction — 2040 yard when the site allows.

What can go in the bin
Surrey jobs often include new construction waste, renovation debris, roofing tear-off, household cleanouts, and heavier concrete or dirt. Confirm paint, chemicals, propane, tires, appliances, e-waste, liquids and possible asbestos when you call. See materials we recycle. If the load mixes light household debris with heavy masonry, say so — that changes size advice more than neighbourhood names do. Keep liquids, propane and anything asbestos-uncertain out of the bin until we confirm how to handle them on the call.
Where the bin can go — Traffic Obstruction Permit (TOP)
If the bin must go on City of Surrey property. Containers on a Surrey roadway, boulevard or other City property need a Traffic Obstruction Permit (TOP) before placement. The City asks for about five working days of advance time. A private driveway or private pad does not use that TOP process the way City property does — driveway is the preferred default. Official reference: Surrey construction waste bin requirements. You confirm or apply with the City; Trash King does not apply for the TOP. Tell dispatch about cul-de-sac clearance and truck path — we do not invent metre-by-metre bylaw measurements here.

Town-centre names are for orientation only. The booking call should cover the real address, driveway vs City property, and materials — that is what sizes the bin. Industrial Newton approaches and unfinished new-build streets deserve an extra sentence about surface and turning room so the truck is not surprised on arrival.
Delivery considerations
Surrey’s sprawling grid, new-build cul-de-sacs, industrial Newton approaches and high-rise Whalley pads each need a clear drop description. Prefer private property. If a street or boulevard drop is unavoidable, start the TOP conversation with the City early so the five-working-day ask and our schedule can line up.
