Taking out only the island leaves cabinets, a counter and utility stubs. Plan for a heavy stone top if you have one.
Island only rip without a full gut

An island removal leaves cabinets, counter pieces and wiring. The rest of the kitchen stays in place.
Counters and cabinets

A stone top is dense and heavy. Laminate and MDF boxes are mixed junk. Send any appliances to recycling first.
Electrical and plumbing stubs
Have the utilities capped safely. Tell us about stone when you book. The rest of the island can go in a junk bin.
When a bin fits
We deliver, you fill the bin, and we haul it away when you are finished. The 20-yard junk bin is where most people start. We also have a 15-yard bin, but it is often sold out, so ask when you book.
A bin on your driveway or yard needs no permit. Street, boulevard or lane placement can need a City permit in some cities, so check before you book. If you need one, send us the dates and we will time delivery.
Do not load batteries, electronics, propane tanks, paint, solvents, pharmaceuticals or asbestos into a junk bin. Asbestos is never permitted in any Trash King bin. Search Metro Vancouver Recycles or call 604-732-9253 if you are unsure.
Standing limits are on our disposal bins and what not to put in a bin pages.
