Protection boards, poly sheeting and offcuts are the main waste here, so keep them apart from any demolished wall material.

Shared wall caution

Older shared walls may hide asbestos. Test before cutting. Drywall may need separate handling based on its age and testing results. Board date stamped 1990 or newer, or older or undated board with a lab report showing no asbestos, can use a drywall bin. Asbestos never goes in any bin.

Driveway staging

Prefer private drive aisles. Street rules depend on your City. Mixed protection waste rides in a junk bin after pulls.

When a bin fits

We drop off the bin. You load it, and we haul it away. For most jobs, the 20-yard junk bin is the place to start. We also have a 15-yard bin, but it is often sold out, so ask when you book.

No permit is needed for a bin on your driveway or yard. Street, boulevard or lane placement can need a City permit in some cities, so check before you book. If you need one, give us the dates and we will time delivery to match.

Do not load batteries, electronics, propane tanks, paint, solvents, pharmaceuticals or asbestos into a junk bin. Asbestos is never permitted in any Trash King bin. Search Metro Vancouver Recycles or call 604-732-9253 if you are unsure.

Our disposal bins and what not to put in a bin pages cover the standing limits. City pages such as Surrey or Abbotsford help when your job sits in those cities.
