Wainscoting and Board and Batten Removals: Feature Wall Culls

Painted board and batten panels stacked flat after removal

Wainscoting and board and batten walls mix painted wood, MDF and fasteners. Sort the coated panels away from any clean lumber.

Feature wall millwork culls

Bare wall with adhesive marks after wainscoting removal

A feature wall leaves painted trim and panels like other millwork. Painted or coated panels are not clean wood.

Adhesive and filler

Scraped adhesive and filler stay with mixed debris. Solvent adhesives go to a hazardous waste depot.

Feature wall without a full gut

One feature wall makes a small load. Stack the panels and trim flat. A junk bin clears them once solvents are out.

When a bin fits

We place the bin, you fill it, and we take it away when you call. Most jobs begin with the 20-yard junk bin. We also have a 15-yard bin, but it is often sold out, so ask when you book.

Private driveway or yard placement needs no permit. For street, boulevard or lane spots, ask your City first. If a permit is required, send the dates and we will match the drop off.

Do not put batteries, electronics, propane tanks, paint, solvents, pharmaceuticals or asbestos in a junk bin. Asbestos is never permitted in any Trash King bin. Search Metro Vancouver Recycles or call 604-732-9253 if you are unsure.

Standing limits are listed on our disposal bins and what not to put in a bin pages.
