Sunroom and Solarium Tear Down: Glass, Aluminum and Slab Edges

Sunroom frame with glass panels leaning against a fence

A sunroom tear down leaves glass, aluminum and sealant. Send heaters and sealants to depots before any junk load.

Sunrooms mix glass and aluminum

Broken concrete slab edge pieces beside a patio

The job leaves glass panels, aluminum frames and slab edge concrete. Aluminum goes to scrap. Glass needs plate glass care. Broken slab edges go in a heavy bin.

Old sealant tubes go to a Product Care depot. Electric heaters go to an electronics depot. Keep glass, frames and finish waste in separate piles.

Yard access

Long glass panels need a clear path to the truck. Tell us about panel size and concrete volume when you book.

When a bin fits

We set the bin down, you load it, and we haul it off. Our 20-yard junk bin is the usual place to start. We also have a 15-yard bin, but it is often sold out, so ask when you book.

Putting the bin on your driveway or yard needs no permit. On the street, boulevard or lane, some cities require a permit, so check with your City before booking. If a permit applies, send us the dates and we will time delivery.

A junk bin is the wrong place for batteries, electronics, propane tanks, paint, solvents, pharmaceuticals or asbestos. Asbestos is never permitted in any Trash King bin. Search Metro Vancouver Recycles or call 604-732-9253 if you are unsure.
