Whole home paint prep creates scraped chips, tape and ruined drop cloths. Lead paint suspects on older homes need testing before disturbance.

What never rides as ordinary junk

Wet paint, solvents and aerosols stay on Product Care paths. If testing shows lead in the old paint, check with Metro Vancouver on how to handle the chips before they go anywhere near a bin. Dry chips from paint that tested lead free can be bagged to control dust and placed in the junk bin. Liquid paint never goes in the bin.

Room by room staging

Bag chips so fines stay put. A junk bin clears prep waste after hazardous cans are pulled.

When a bin fits

The bin comes from us, you load it, and we collect it when it is full. Most jobs start with our 20-yard junk bin. We also have a 15-yard bin, but it is often sold out, so ask when you book.

Putting the bin on your driveway or yard needs no permit. On the street, boulevard or lane, some cities require a permit, so check with your City before booking. If a permit applies, send us the dates and we will time delivery.

Batteries, electronics, propane tanks, paint, solvents, pharmaceuticals and asbestos do not belong in a junk bin. Asbestos is never permitted in any Trash King bin. Search Metro Vancouver Recycles or call 604-732-9253 if you are unsure.

For standing limits, use our disposal bins and what not to put in a bin pages. City pages such as Surrey or Abbotsford help when your job sits in those cities.
