Kitchen soft renos leave doors, drawer fronts and hardware without a full cabinet carcass tear out. Stage metal hardware for scrap when practical.
Doors and drawer fronts without a full gut

Kitchen soft renos replace the doors, drawer fronts and pulls while the cabinet boxes stay in place, so the waste is light and easy to sort.
Hardware and coatings
Metal pulls and hinges can go to scrap. Painted MDF doors are mixed junk, not clean wood. Keep solvent strippers on Product Care paths.
Loading a soft reno cull
Stack doors flat below the rail. A 20-yard junk bin clears the cull after hazardous and electronics items are set aside.
When a bin fits
You do the loading. We handle delivery and haul away. Most jobs start with our 20-yard junk bin. We also have a 15-yard bin, but it is often sold out, so ask when you book.
On your driveway or yard, the bin needs no permit. For the street, boulevard or lane, some cities require a permit, so check first. If yours does, send us the dates and we will time delivery.
Batteries, electronics, propane tanks, paint, solvents, pharmaceuticals and asbestos do not belong in a junk bin. Asbestos is never permitted in any Trash King bin. Search Metro Vancouver Recycles or call 604-732-9253 if you are unsure.
Standing limits are listed on our disposal bins and what not to put in a bin pages. City pages such as Surrey or Abbotsford help when your job sits in those cities.
