An ADU foundation pour leaves formwork, excess concrete and rebar. Concrete goes in a 10 or 12-yard heavy bin, apart from junk.
ADU pour spoils and formwork

The pour leaves form lumber, extra concrete and packaging. Extra concrete goes in a heavy bin. Uncoated form lumber may go to a clean wood program.
Plastic and steel form accessories

Form ties and steel can go to scrap. Plastic cones and poly are junk. Keep washout water out of storm drains.
Phase the waste plan
Book a heavy bin for concrete and a junk bin for formwork. Ask about pour day timing when you book.
When a bin fits
We deliver the bin and haul it away. You do the loading. Our 20-yard junk bin is the usual place to start. We also have a 15-yard bin, but it is often sold out, so ask when you book. Concrete, dirt and other heavy materials go in their own 10 or 12-yard heavy bin, kept out of junk. A combined concrete and dirt load is sometimes available for an extra fee.
You do not need a permit for a bin on your driveway or yard. Some cities do need a permit for the street, boulevard or lane, so ask your City before booking. If you get dates, we will match delivery to them.
Do not put batteries, electronics, propane tanks, paint, solvents, pharmaceuticals or asbestos in a junk bin. Asbestos is never permitted in any Trash King bin. Search Metro Vancouver Recycles or call 604-732-9253 if you are unsure.
