Pool Deck Surround Rebuild: Coping, Pavers and Bond Beam Chips

Stacked pavers and coping stones beside an empty pool

Pool deck rebuilds leave pavers, concrete and coping. Keep the heavy masonry out of junk and plan a 10 or 12-yard heavy bin.

Coping, pavers and bond beam chips are dense. Pool chemicals go to a hazardous waste depot.

Concrete chips go in a heavy bin. Plastic forms and expansion foam stay out of the heavy load.

Ask for heavy bins

Tell us when pavers and coping make up most of the load. A junk bin only covers the leftovers that are not masonry.

When a bin fits

The bin arrives, you load it, and we haul it away. A 20-yard junk bin is the usual starting size. We also have a 15-yard bin, but it is often sold out, so ask when you book. Concrete, dirt and other heavy materials go in their own 10 or 12-yard heavy bin, kept out of junk. A combined concrete and dirt load is sometimes available for an extra fee.

Your driveway or yard needs no permit for the bin. Some cities require a permit for the street, boulevard or lane, so ask your City first. If a permit applies, share the dates and we will time delivery.

Batteries, electronics, propane tanks, paint, solvents, pharmaceuticals and asbestos stay out of a junk bin. Asbestos is never permitted in any Trash King bin. Search Metro Vancouver Recycles or call 604-732-9253 if you are unsure.
